Battlefield 4

20130329-203153.jpgI preordered Battlefield 4, which should be releasing this fall (not sure exactly when though). I’m stoked about it because I’m a huge battlefield fan. Most of the complaints I hear are about how it’s going to be the same game with a fresh new coat of paint on it. If you watched the 17 minutes of gameplay that came out you got a glimpse of what I’m so excited about. While it would be nice to see something new I’m still psyched about the game regardless.

As far as the mission gameplay…I don’t really care. I’m more interested in the multiplayer aspect of the game. Don’t get me wrong I’ll still play the single player storyline for fun, but multiplayer is the reason I play the game.

As for changes…I’d love to see more integration of teamwork. Being able to use voice in the game without using outside programs like teamspeak (I play on PC) would be a step towards getting more communication within teams.

Any thoughts on BF4?

AFTERMATH BF3

The idea was to draw daily, but with battlefield 3 competing with my free time, this is difficult to do. My desire to draw is definitely present, but c’mon…Have you seen the new BF3 Aftermath Trailer? Playstation 3 Premium members luckily are playing today, but us PC gamers are waiting patiently till December 4th. I don’t get why they can’t launch the game for all platforms on the same day. People seem to make simple things so complicated. I bet it has something to do with them making MORE money.

Slender Game

I just learned about this game, but you have to try it… Slender Game. It’s a free download and you can get it for Mac also. Hide your children…Slender man is coming…

OUYA: A New Kind of Video Game Console by OUYA — Kickstarter.

Are you ready for another console? I don’t know if I’m sold on it yet, but it looks pretty cool and I love the idea of it being less expensive. I’m really getting tired of spending $400 on a console and then having to pay $60 a game plus $15 every time there is new DLC or add-on. What happened to the good ol’ days…25 cents at an arcade…I miss Pac-man.

Black Ops II

I’ve really enjoyed Call of Duty games for quite some time, but I’m not too excited about Black Ops 2, while the trailer looks cool I’m not sure if it’s bringing anything new. I’ll just have to wait and see. I did read this at fraggednation, which makes it pretty interesting for PC players… Continue reading
